Flights to Sydney
Sydney is Australia's largest city and often the first landing point for many who are arriving into Australia. As a cosmopolitan city surrounded by beaches, mountains and, of course, the beautiful Sydney Harbour, it's easy to see why so many people enjoying living in this vibrant part of the world and whether you've come for the weather, the lifestyle or visiting family, Sydney is sure to keep you occupied during your stay. Flights to Sydney will include a stopover in Dubai, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, or many other global destinations.
Starting in the city centre, the famous Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge should be at the top of your list of things to do. The city buzzes with activity, especially around the harbour area with bars, restaurants and the city's main ferry terminal close by.
Take a ferry over the Manly, one of Sydney's popular suburbs and enjoy the laid back beaches and lifestyle that is on offer. For the active, take a trip up into Sydney Harbour National Park and the Fairfax Walk to North Head for panoramic views of Sydney and out to the Pacific Ocean.
Head south-east of Sydney and visit the famous Bondi Beach. Watch surfers ride the waves (or take a few lessons yourself while you're here), explore the coastal Bondi to Coogee Walk or simply chill out and enjoy one of the many oceanfront cafes or bars in this trendy part of town.
To really get away from the hustle and bustle of city, you need to explore west and out into the Blue Mountains National Park, home to a range of native Australian animals. With more than 140km of walking trails throughout this World Heritage Site, ranging from forest walks to cliff-top hikes, the spectacular lush, green landscape will have you in awe as you admire iconic sites such as the Three Sisters and Govetts Leap. If that's not adventurous enough, a range of activities including rock-climbing, horse-riding and canoeing are also on offer to visitors.
